Is there a free trial?

Yes. Browse is free, needs no card and never ends. Every paid plan starts with 7 free days, which begin when you choose a plan and add a card.

How does licence pricing work?

A licence is one person who can sign in, and you pay for as many as you need. Each licence after the first costs less than the one before it. On Chartering one licence is US$99.99 a month and two are US$149.99, not US$199.98. Use the licence control above to see the total for any number.

Can I add licences after we start?

Yes, at any time. An owner adds or removes licences in Settings, Billing. The change takes effect at once and nothing is charged that day. You pay the difference for the days left in the current period on your next monthly invoice. A desk cannot have fewer licences than people, so remove the person first.

What happens when the 7 days end?

The subscription starts and your card is charged for the first period. You add the card when you choose a plan, but nothing is charged during the trial, and if you cancel on the billing screen within those 7 days you pay nothing.

How many brokers can share one desk?

One for each licence you buy. No paid plan limits the number of people; the plans differ by features. A desk of twelve that needs the vessel register and fixtures (agreed deals) buys twelve Desk licences, and moves to Chartering when it needs laytime (the time allowed to load and unload) and the voyage estimator. Every broker has their own sign-in and mailbox, while fixtures and the position list are shared by the desk.

What if we need more than 25 licences?

Above 25 licences, we agree the price with you instead of charging a card. It does not cost more: after the first 5 licences, every extra licence costs the same, whether the desk has 25 licences or two hundred. The only change is that we send an invoice. Choose a plan and press Talk to us. The number of licences you entered is sent with your message.

Is the world fleet register included, or extra?

It is included on every paid plan, and you can search it on the free plan. All customers use one shared register, so you do not keep your own copy and there is no charge per record. Corrections your desk makes are private to your desk.

Is the live map on every plan?

Yes, on every plan including the free one. It shows where ships are now from live AIS (ship tracking signals), along with the age of the newest position. Ship details and ownership start on Desk.

Can colleagues read my mail?

No. A connected mailbox is private to the person who connected it, and the desk's owners and administrators cannot read it either. The database enforces this, not just the screen. A message reaches the desk only when you send it there.

Do you sell port line-ups?

No plan includes them, because there is no worldwide line-up feed to buy. Each port authority publishes its line-up in its own format, or not at all, so every port needs its own reader. Expected arrivals come from AIS (ship tracking signals) and cover the world, but they are not line-ups and the product never calls them line-ups.

What is billed annually?

The same plans. You pay for ten months and get twelve. The switch above changes every card at once so you can compare them side by side.
